About the Master Class
The Five-Animal Qigong (Wu Qin Xi) is an ancient Chinese movement practice developed by the renowned physician Hua Tuo in the 2nd century. Inspired by the natural movements of five animals, this system combines gentle, flowing exercises with Qigong principles to strengthen the body, calm the mind, and uplift the spirit.
Each animal sequence supports different aspects of physical and emotional well-being, encouraging flexibility, balance, focus, and inner calm. Modern research suggests that regular Qigong practice can help reduce stress, improve mental clarity, and support emotional resilience.
This 3-session master class takes place on 7 February, 14 February, and 28 February and offers a playful yet grounding introduction to Five-Animal Qigong, making it accessible and enjoyable for both children and adults. It is a wonderful opportunity for individuals and families to reconnect with natural rhythms and experience movement as a source of vitality, joy, and holistic health.
