The 12th Heidelberg Laureate Forum has concluded and we have collected some impressions of the final day in our “Snapshots” video above (and on our YouTube Channel).
The day kicked off with a lecture by noted mathematician and computer scientist Avi Wigderson, on “The Value of Errors in Proofs.”
Next, a panel of experts took stock of the “State of Science Integrity”, paying special focus to how AI tools have contributed to fraud in the academic publishing industry.
The afternoon brought young researchers together for an “Innovation Café,” a fast-paced networking and idea-sharing format designed to tackle big questions facing science, technology and one’s career.
To close out the final day of the 12th Heidelberg Laureate Forum, the attendees arrived at Heidelberg Castle for a closing reception and the traditional Farewell Dinner.
As always, select photos from this day can be found on our Flickr page.
